One of Bermuda's most exciting times of year, Cup Match is an annual two-day cricket match that runs at the beginning of August.
Each year, longtime Island rivals Somerset and St. George's face off while revelers indugle in a wide variety of traditional food and drink, games, celebrations and more. Approximately 15,000 spectactors attend the match while others camp on Bermuda's beaches and in public parks.
Cup Match is played over two public holidays, Emancipation Day and Somer's Day, which are always held on the Thursday and Friday before the first Monday of August. The Saturday and Sunday following the match are also full of fun!
