Fishing in Bermuda

by Chelsea Oliver 12th July 2018

Bermuda is known for offering fantastic fishing and peak season runs from May until November. Early on, wahoo and yellowfin tuna are in abundance followed by marlins, barracudas, mahi mahi and many additional species such as groupers, blackfin tuna, snapper and rockfish. Even in the winter months, there is something to catch.

Bermuda is home to many experienced fishermen and charter fishing companies who are ready and waiting to provide insight on where to fish and the best techniques. A trip out on a charter boat is considered a must for Island visitors! Charter guests are often given a portion of the catch to take home to enjoy for lunch or dinner.
